Flat Out Afloat on Slovanský Island

A Unique Experience for Teams on the Vltava River right under Prague Castle.

An unforgettable event called Flat Out Afloat took place on Slovanský Island with a beautiful view of Prague Castle and Charles Bridge, offering 170 participants not only entertainment but also an opportunity to improve teamwork and communication. This original program is characterized by teams building and racing boats made from recycled paper.

The program began with the distribution of materials—teams were given recycled cardboard sheets from which they had to cut out individual parts of their boats according to the provided plans. This showcased the importance of team communication, planning, and organization, as these qualities were crucial for a successful build. Once the boats were assembled, the highlight of the event followed: races on the Vltava River. Each team had the chance to test their creation directly from the dock and compete against others.

The event was not only a great diversion after the conference at Žofín Palace but also a source of new energy and motivation for all participants. The combination of a unique program, a beautiful setting, and team spirit created an experience that attendees will remember for a long time.

Prague has once again demonstrated that its options for organizing creative and unconventional activities for large groups are virtually limitless.
