FLAT OUT AVIATOR

As with other Flat Out teambuilding games, the Aviator teams utilize a set of tools and building material (cardboard) to build a 1: 4 scale plane that is then also decorated with stickers, foil, flags,… Sky is the limit here! Though, team members also need to agree on a strategy to successfully overcome a series of obstacles. They will set up all the roles so that each team member can bring the most to their joint efforts. The race follows! The teams line up on the runway and, as in the Red Bull Air Race, only the best combination of speed, accuracy and skill can prevail, so that the team-built aircraft can handle the obstacle course in the fastest possible time. The victory here is very valuable and prestigious!

It takes a lot of teamwork, ingenuity and perfect communication to create a functional plane from a box with tools and materials. In the actual construction of the competition cardboard plane, the ability to see the bigger picture and follow the vision is necessary. Only an efficient allocation of activities between individual sub-teams or individual team members with different work assignments, effective communication between components, and understanding how each part of the team delivers its part can lead to a well-designed competition aircraft. Efficient strategic planning, precise division and adherence to roles and good teamwork leads to success in the subsequent aircraft race of all teams!
